Vintage Senior Portraits | Western Railway Museum, Suisun City, California

Had a great time hanging out with this girl - a senior in high school with awesome vintage style! Also, I highly recommend going to this museum. All the volunteers are very knowledgeable and kind, and it's a really cool atmosphere. You can take a train ride out 5 miles through windmills and open land - not the kind of thing you see everyday!

Kaylee was so great to work with. Originally from a dense, urban area in China, she wanted something more city-esque, which is always fun! We went downtown to the Funk Zone for some grittier shots, but not before we stopped at a great bookstore on the way. I love the color, shapes, and energy in these shots, not to mention her contagious smile! Thanks again, Kaylee, and congratulations on graduating!

This senior shoot was definitely one of a kind. I would simply describe Nicole as "fabulous." She is funny, energetic, and probably the most adventurous person I've had the pleasure of working with so far; this is evident in her train trestle and ocean photos. She spent a semester at sea traveling the world and used some scarves from her travels for part of the shoot. During our consultation she recited a disturbing-yet-wonderful poem she had written off the top of her head. I think that says it all – she is an interesting, fabulous human being. And I hope these photos reflect that! Thanks again, Nicole!

I knew Julia's shoot was going to be fun from the moment she asked to incorporate a skateboard. I found out she was also a surfer, so we decided to make use both kinds of boards for her photos! I love how full of motion these photos are. Julia has such a magnetic personality, which will hopefully suit her well at law school in the fall!
